Any business you want to start you have to put some work into it. Usually you must work very hard at the beginning, but the hard work pays off in the end. The best and only way to financial freedom is to have your own business.
What is the very first thing I would recommend to a new business owner online? Well, the first thing I would do is to ask where your interests or passions lie. It is no use going after a niche that is profitable, but you are not interested in; you won’t be able to keep at it for the long haul. I find that people stay in their business longer if they like what they are involved in.
Did you ever think you’d see the day when companies such as Sears, Apple, Boeing, AT&T, IBM, Continental and American Airlines, and the big oil companies would be laying off people by the thousands? As many as 25,000 at a time!
Well, that is how it was. But that is not how it is now. I have invested the time needed to find out the underlying laws, principles, rules, methods, and techniques of successful action in the network marketing field. I have gotten educated about this wonderful industry. By doing so, I have saved myself the 90 percent of the time and effort required to achieve my goals. I am no longer blindly following behind the blind. Investing the time to get educated has saved me from falling into the traps I used to fall into. I am now successfully building a solid home business around practical, proven techniques that work.
3) You should be provided with marketing materials that will get you started immediately. New business owners will not have the knowledge to create their own marketing materials. Of course, when you are more experienced, it will always be a good idea to learn how to create your own materials.
If you spend your time being the “go-for” for your family and friends, your business will fail. You are not at home to be at the beck and call for your family and friends regardless of what they may think. Let them know that. I stubbornly refuse to assist family and friends with tasks during the hours of 8 to 5, Monday through Friday.
Look at your own behavior because people who are getting the results you are striving for are not offended. Let me use a very strong example. People who lie, cheat, or steal will get offended when people talk about lying, cheating or stealing, how dare someone talk to them like that!
Does the company that you’re looking at have some type of “buzz” that surrounds it? Do the products or service they offer have enough appeal to draw people to it?
